Our Accountability

At life Church We believe that everyone should have someone in authority over them, someone who can provide direction, wisdom and at times correction including Churches and Pastors.  Pastor David and Life Church are a part of "New Life Christian Fellowship International" a fellowship of Churches and Pastors that are changing the world. 

Bishop Paul Zinc of New Life Christian Fellowship, an 18,000 member spirit filled church in Jacksonville Florida, began NLCFI in 1986 with a mission to provide apostolic oversight and assist Churches and Ministers in fulfilling God's calling and purpose for them.  NLCFI differs from traditional denominations in that it has no administrative headquarters and all of it's leaders still pastor their Churches.  NLCFI provides council for Churches and Pastors and exists to serve, mentor, develop gifts, and provide a place of fellowship and support for it's members. 

Pastor Rusty Nelson of the Rock Family Worship Center (a 4500 member spirit filled Church in Huntsville, Alabama) serves as the Presbyter for NLCFI Churches in Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia.   

Pastor Tommy Barnett Pastor of Phoenix First Assembly of God is a tremendous blessing as one of our sponsors for Life Church & The Nashville Dream Center. Below are some words from Pastor Barnett and his son Matthew Barnett who are pastors of the L.A. Dream Center.

Pastor M. David Calhoun -Senior Pastor of Life Church and president of the Nashville Dream Center.  Pastor David brings nearly 20 years of ministry experience to Life Builders including 12 years previously as a Senior Pastor.  He and his wife Kristy have been married for over 21 years and have one Daugther, Brittany who serves as the Worship Pastor.          

We are so excited about Life Church in Nashville TN.  We have known Pastors David & Kristy Calhoun for over 18 years.  All of the steps that they have made and the ministries they have raised up, have led them to this point   To build a great church in Nashville is their destiny!  The timing of the Lord is evident and the provision of the Lord has confirmed it.  NOW IS THE TIME for Life Church to come forth!
